INTRODUCTION

RALK is a Welfare Center that shelters orphans, poor and needy children, old folks and those who are eligible to receive tithe or zakat.

Besides the 120 children who reside in the hostel, the orphans who live in their own homes also receive assistance by registering their names under the Kelab Anak Yatim Se Malaysia ( Malaysian Orphans Club ) handled by RALK. To date, the total numbers who have registered are over 300 children and they are frequently included in the activities organised by RALK.

The home began its operations in early 2006, RALK rented a corner unit terrace house with RM1600 rental per month and it is used as a hostel for girls.

Besides a hostel, it is also used as a place for the people who need help and shelter like the single mothers and old folks. To date as many as 40 single mothers and 30 old folks have registered and under the protection of RALK.

The hostel for boys was opened in January 2007, it was built on the land owned by the founders including 5 units of their inherited homes.

However, renovation works are carried out gradually to upgrade the status of the current building. With the generosity of Y.A.B. Dato' Seri Najib Tun Razak ( Prime Minister of Malaysia ), RALK has built a musolla with an additional hostel complex on a donated land adjacent to the original site of RALK. Thank you God for everything.

Currently the residents of RALK are 120 of them.

May God move the hearts of many capable people to help protect and nurture these children.
