CARE UPM - INAUGURAL LECTURE BY PROF DR LATIFFAH ABD LATIFF

On 7th November 2014, there was an inaugural lecture by Profesor Dr. Latiffah A. Latiff entitled "  “Transformasi Kesihatan Wanita ke Arah Kesejahteraan Komuniti” (Transformation Of Women's Health Towards Community Prosperity ). The lecture was held at 9.45 am at the Main Lecture Hall, Faculty of Medicine and Science Computer, UPM. Over 349 participant were present comprising of Senior Staff of UPM, families and old friends of Prof. Dr. Latiffah. The children from Rumah Amal Limpahan Kasih (RALK), Puchong were honoured to be part of the opening ceremony.

SHARING IS CARING

Alhamdulillah, Rumah Amal Limpahan Kasih ( Overflowing Love Charity Home ) has been receiving invitations from various organizations and private homes, requesting the children of RALK to participate in their functions. Either as guests for their functions, or as participants in their educational and recreational activities. There are also many others who have made personal visits to Rumah Amal Limpahan Kasih, spending quality time with the children.

We are very thankful to everyone who has been generous with their contributions whether in monetary form, in goods or in time and effort. May Allah Most Gracious, Most Merciful rewards them generously.

VISIT BY STAFF FROM ASTRO

On 24 January 2014, five staff as represantatives of the HR department ASTRO made a short visit to RALK for the purpose of handing their donation collected at their annual charity bazaar. Rumah Amal Limpahan Kasih was honored to be the charity home selected to receive their contributions. Alhamdulillah, may Allah bless all the generous donors and may their contributions be well used.

Majlis Amal Berbuka Puasa Summit Hotel Subang USJ & Peninsula Residence All Suite Hotel 3rd Aug 2011

Eighty-five children ranging age from 6 months to 17 years old from Rumah Amal Limpahan Kasih, a home for the less privileged based in Puchong were invited to Summit Hotel Subang USJ on 3rd August 2011 for a breaking fast dinner treat at Oceania Buffet Restaurant. This event is hosted by Summit Hotel Subang USJ & Peninsula Residence All Suite Hotel for the less fortunate on this holy month. The children were entertained by Ghazal performance from Kumpulan Budaya Suara Klasik "Samsudin Lamin" having special appearance throughout fasting month at Oceania Buffet Restaurant. The children responded by giving a special performance and dedicated songs as a token of appreciation to the hotel management. They were welcomed and attended by Summit Hotels & Resorts Group General Manager, Mr. Lam Hin Choon, Group Director of Operation Mr. Muhaiyuddin, Peninsula Residence All Suite Hotel Residence Manager Mr. Anthony Wee, heads of departments and staff. The hotels presented the children with 'Duit Raya' and sundry goods and some cash for the home in addition to the scrumptious dinner.
